Environmental Public Health Tracking

The Missouri Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT) team strives to provide information to and receive information from the National Tracking Network by compiling, combining, and translating public health and environmental data into meaningful information for Missourians and their communities.

CDC National Environmental Public Health Tracking Program. Flash Player 9 is required.

Data on this site is used for a range of public health policy development and program planning purposes, including hazard and disease surveillance (e.g., estimating the magnitude of a problem, analyzing trends over time, identifying high-risk groups), identifying and targeting effective interventions, and for public health research.

Data and information on this network will also serve as a "knowledge base" of critical monitoring and surveillance systems; and information resources.

How to make the most of the EPHT data site

From the data site, individuals can access environmental health and exposure information for the State of Missouri. For example, to look at rates of blood lead levels in children less than six years of age by county, zip code, calendar year, or blood-lead test results, clicking on the “Data Queries” button will bring up the application that allows you to query the data or, in other words, narrow your search.
